We have been located in White House, Pennsylvania for over 30 years, providing care for local families for generations. Now, we are expanding our practice to be able to give the same level of care to more families in Southwestern Pennsylvania, and to better serve our community.
The skin is the largest organ of the body. Dermatologic conditions affect people of all ages. Therefore, we are available to treat patients of all ages, for any condition affecting the skin, hair, and nails. We can treat these conditions whether they are malignant or benign, common or uncommon.
Some examples of conditions affecting children that may require dermatologist evaluation and care are eczema, warts, molluscum, impetigo, birthmarks, and moles.
Some conditions that commonly affect adolescents/teenagers include ringworm, acne, warts, eczema, hives, herpes simplex (cold sores), psoriasis, allergic rashes, vitiligo, poison (ivy, oak, sumac), and genital warts.
Adults often are treated for actinic keratosis, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, shingles, hair loss, infections, seborrheic dermatitis, seborrheic keratosis, hives, and psoriasis-including the use of biologic therapy.
Prevention is an extremely important component to taking care of your skin. Proper use of sunscreen and regular exams by your dermatologist can help protect your skin from damage before it needs treated.
