Surgical
At Tristate Dermatology, we strive to help patients avoid surgery if possible, and we are excited about the results we have achieved with our laser procedures to treat skin cancer and pre-cancerous lesions.
Through our ‘non-surgical’ cancer treatments, we have been able to decrease our total number of cancer surgeries, but there are times when surgery is a necessary choice.
Surgery can be a stressful experience, but here at Tristate Dermatology, you can relax knowing that our highly trained staff will be working with you to meet your needs. Our surgical procedures are done with local anesthetic, so there are is no IV access or sedation needed. You are able to return to work the next day. In fact, many of our patients return to work the same day.
A member of our staff will review your medical history to be sure that you are a candidate for your desired surgical procedure.
We will review post-operative care with you and provide you with written instructions to answer any questions that you or your family may have.
